Description: | 11th century Early Medieval harness strap junction. Cast in copper alloy this incomplete strap junction is comprised of four projecting arms, one if which is incomplete with a worn break. The terminals of the three complete arms are fully rounded, with a diameter of approximately 9.09mm. There is an incised zig-zag design on the upper surface. The junction has an even red-brown patina.
