Description: | Medieval (1300-1500AD) incomplete cast copper alloy composite strap end. Only the incomplete forked spacer and integrally cast terminal survive. The terminal is semi-circular with a central circular hole and a rounded knop. The forked spacers are rectangular in plan with a square cross section. There are worn breaks across both forks. It has a mid-green patina.
