Description: | An incomplete cast copper alloy medieval seal matrix. The circular matrix has a hexagonal shaped handle with an incomplete attachment loop at the apex. The central device is a pair of crossed bound wrists and the cord represents love. The legend around the edge reads ??FEY ME TENET?? which is translated as ??Keep faith with me. It exhorts the lover to be faithful to his/her lover. The surviving length is 15.4mm, the diameter of the seal is 15.0mm and the weight is 4.16g.
