Description: | Post Medieval copper alloy book fitting. It is rectangular in plan, expanding slightly at one terminal into a scalloped edge. The opposing terminal has a narrow hooked end. The upper surface has incised geometric designs in the form of zigzags and circles. It is 34.06mm long, 9.09mm wide, 8.62mm thick and weighs 1.76 grams. The fitting has been bent in several places.
