Description: | St Peters Church is situated on Church Street, Titchfield and is a fine example of Saxon and Norman architecture. The fine western doorway dates from the 12th century and the priest's door in the chancel is 13th century. The north aisle was added in the 15th century, the tower was raised twice before the spire was added and the clock on the tower in 1887. In the abbot's chapel stands an elegant marble and alabaster tomb, a monument to the first Earl of Southampton, Thomas Wriothesley and his wife and son.
