Description: Paris Assorted was a luxury assortment of fancy biscuits, marzipans and chocolate confections. It was probably introduced in the 1930s, though rationing meant that production ceased during the Second World War. It contained Almond Sandwich, Gooseberry Fudge, Raspberry Fudge, Westminster Wafers, Oval Petit Fours, Fruit Tarts (red and green), African, Fondant, Football Wafers, Regent Sandwich, John o'Groats Shortbread, Coconut Macaroons (cherry), Bourbon, Orange Marzipan, Apple Marzipan, Creamy Chocolate, Italian Macaroons, Empire Wafer, Jam and Cream Wafer, Blay, Acorn and Finger Gingerbread.
