Description: | c.1960.
View looks along Park Row in the direction of The Headrow from the junction with Bond Street. In the centre of the view is a newly constructed white coloured building. This is number 11 Park Row, premises for Abbey National. This was the site of the original Eagle Star offices. Moving right, the dark building is the Royal Insurance building. The premises of the Westminster Bank (now Natwest) can be seen on the right at the corner of Park Row and Bond Street. This is number 4 Park Row. Between the Royal Insurance building and the bank, an alleyway gives access to numbers 6 to 9 Park Row which included the Old Bank Chambers. | License: | http://www.leodis.net/article.aspx?id=12 | Rights holder: | Leeds Central Library | Subjects: | Park Row Bond Street | Source: | Leodis - A photographic archive of Leeds | Identifier: | http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?id=20... | Go to resource |
