View of Woodlands, a road going through part of an estate of modern houses from Bradford Road. The stone built residence in the background is the old Vicarage which once belonged to st. Michael's Church. The Vicarage is initialled and dated 'J.D. 1846'. J.D. stands for Reverend John Daniel, incumbent of St. Michael's from 1844 - 1875. The Vicarage is now grade II listed and stands on the West side of Church Lane. A new Vicarage was built on an adjacent site in Church Lane, off camera to the right. The modern homes on the right are numbered, from left to right 12, 10, and 8 Woodlands. The junction with Woodlands Drive is visible, left. | License: | http://www.leodis.net/article.aspx?id=12 | Rights holder: | Leeds Central Library | Subjects: | listed Bradford Road Vicarage Woodlands Woodland Drive St. Michael's Church | Source: | Leodis - A photographic archive of Leeds | Identifier: | http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?id=20... | Go to resource |
