Description: | Undated.
Looking north along Cookridge Street from The Headrow. On the left is an 1847 building that was originally an office and warehouse for the cloth trade. Since the photograph the building has been renovated to form part of the Henry Moore Institute. Further along is Austicks Bookshop. On the right is Permanent House, the headquarters of the Leeds Permanent Building Society, then St. Anne's Cathedral with scaffolding surrounding the tower. A car showing a registration plate with prefix C indicates this was taken sometime from 1985 onwards. | License: | http://www.leodis.net/article.aspx?id=12 | Rights holder: | Leeds Central Library | Subjects: | Cookridge Street | Source: | Leodis - A photographic archive of Leeds | Identifier: | http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?id=20... | Go to resource |
