Description: | Photographer P H Delamotte's record of the construction of the south transept of Crystal Palace in Sydenham Hill. Designed by Josepth Paxton for the Great Exhibition of 1851 in Hyde Park, Crystal Palace was dismantled and rebuilt in Sydenham, south-east London.
