Description: | The museum holds material, not generally collected by other local regimental museums, that reflects the experiences of wartime and civil unrest within the Borough, particularly the social and military history of the World War II period. There is a small but significant collection of material relating to World War 1 such as letters from the trenches and a few items of military uniform and weapons. The museum also holds the Rochdale Waterloo Veterans Banner and a banner from the Peterloo massacre in 1819. | Subjects: | Arms & armour | Source: | Cornucopia - Discovering UK Collections | Address: | Scotts Industrial Estate
