Kriegsweihnachten auch in diesem Jahr! Zum zweiten Male müssen Millionen deutscher Männer das schönste Fest unseres Volkes im Felde verleben, fern von ihrer Heimat und ihren Lieben, von Not und Tod in tausenderlei Gestalt umgeben. Bedarf es weiterer Worte, um uns, für die dort draussen gestritten und gelitten wird, unsere Pflicht zu mahnen? Helft uns unseren herrlichen Truppen, die zu Lande, zu Wasser und in der Luft für uns kämpfen, auch in diesem Jahre eine rechte Weihnachtsfreude zu bereiten, als kleines Zeichen unserer unbegrenzten Dankbarkeit. Mitbürger! Gebt daher reichlich und schnell! Erwünscht sind in erster Linie Geldspenden, aber auch Naturalgaben werden dankend entgegengenommen. Besonders geeignet für Geschenke sind: Bleistifte, Briefpapier, Hosenträger, Keks, Kleiderbürsten, Notizbücher, Pfeifen, Schokolade, Seife, Sicherheitsnadeln, Taschenmesser, Taschenspiegel, Zahnbürsten, Tabak, Zigarren und Zigaretten. Sammelstellen: Bahnhofsstrasse 2 (Rotes Kreuz), Königstrasse 130 (Pianofabrikant W. Maass), Allee 258 und Lutherhaus Bahrenfeld. Die Sammelstellen sind geöffnet werktäglich morgens von 9 bis 1 Uhr und nachmittags von 3 bis 7 Uhr. Dort sind auch Gutscheine zum Preise von 4 Mark erhältlich für ein Paket mit bestimmtem Inhalt, das von der Sammelstelle gepackt wird und den der Spender seine Adresse als Absender beifügen kann. Geldspenden nehmen entgegen die Sammelstellen (s.oben), Herr Senator Marlow (Rathaus) und alle Altonaer Banken und Sparkassen auf Konto: 'Liebesgaben für Heer und Marine, Weihnachten 1915'.
