Description: | Acquisition: gift from Frederick Homes Dudden, 1929 Description: Bronze bust, facing viewer; long wig, prominent bushy eyebrows, moustache; lace cravat, Chancellor's robe indicated at left shoulder; Knight Grand Cross, Order of St Michael and St George over his left breast. On scagliola pedestal inscribed 'Jowett'. 'The Acting Curator [Mr Green] reported an offer on the part of the Vice-Chancellor to present to the Examination School a bust in bronze of Lord Cave the late Chancellor of the University. ...
