The pedestal carries a relief carving of a lion on the front dado face; on the left face, under PEACE, is a curved bronze relief depicting a mother and child and an angel; on the right face, under JUSTICE, the figure of Justice (holding scales) stands with another female figure, looking down at a semi-nude female figure on her knees.
