Description: | This is a reversed copy of the painting in the Barber's Company. The painting is by the German artist Hans Holbein, depicting King Henry VIII presenting the Charter of the Incorporation to the Company of Barber-Surgeons whose members surround him. It was commissioned to mark the occasion of the joining of the Barbers and the Surgeons Company in 1541.
