Description: | Behind the scenes, London Transport employed hundreds of support staff who kept the system moving. These included the catering staff working at the company's Food Production Centre in Croydon. Staff produced food to be sent out to staff canteens across south London.
The picture shows three women: one is operating the mincing machine and two are sorting the newly made sausages. This picture was taken in the late 1970s.
