Description: | Venus with drapery thrown over her right shoulder, points to an anvil on which Vulcan is seated. Mercury, with a caduceus and winged hat appears amongst the clouds in the background. Venus the wife of Vulcan, the smith-god, but had borne Aeneas to Anchises cousin of Priam, King of Troy. Wooden frame.
