Description: | Surrender and admittance, at the Small Court and Court Baron of the Right Honourable William Harry, Earl of Darlington, Lord of the Manor of the Prebend of Featherstone, held at Wolverhampton on 15th August 1808. Present: Wiliam Chrees the Younger, Gentleman, deputy steward of the manor; James Hordern and Samuel Stuart, two customary tenants of the manor.
Parties involved:
1. William Price of Featherstone, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Farmer; Samuel Stuart of Wolverhampton, Gentleman; and James Hordern of Wolverhampton, Banker.
2. Thomas Webb Edge of Strelly, Nottinghamshire, Esq. (Heir at Law of Samuel Hellier of The Woodhouses, Wombourne, deceased).
3. Francis Holyoake of Tettenhall, Esq.
Refers to two copyhold messuages, buildings, land and appurtenances within the Manor of Featherstone.
