Description: | Assignment of mortgage by demise, dated 23rd October 1811, between:
1. John Gibbons of Cannock, Staffordshire, Butcher; and Thomas Gibbons of Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Victualler (two Executors of the Will of William Gibbons of Wolverhampton, Innholder, deceased).
2. James Gibbons of Wolverhampton, Factor, eldest son and heir at law of James Gibbons of Wolverhampton, Keymaker, deceased, who died intestate.
3. Thomas Savage of Wolverhampton, Gentleman.
Consideration: 275 paid by #3 to #1 and #2. #1 and #2 granted to #3 a messuage with brewhouse and yard on the north side of Bilston Street, Wolverhampton; 3 shops in the yard; the pig-sty and 'necessary house' adjoining the yard; a barn, stable and two cow-houses at the bottom of the yard; two gardens adjoining the barn and cow-houses. To have and to hold by #3 for the residue of the term of 500 years.
