Description: | Surrender at the Court Baron of the Manor of Stow Heath, held at Wolverhampton on 18th July 1816, before the Lords of the Manor - The Most Noble Marquis of the County of Stafford; and Thomas Giffard Esq. Present: Francis Holyoake Esq., Steward; and Thomas Lawrence Foley; John Woodford; and William Hill, customary tenants of the Manor.
Parties involved:
1. Charles Stokes of Catstree, Worfield, Salop, Gentleman, and Jenny his wife.
2. John Law of Bilston, Staffordshire, Grocer.
