Description: | The face of the medal is struck with two crossed swords and a laurel wreath surmounted by a crown, with the central scroll marked "1914-15". The reverse is stamped "S.S.101875 S. Jackson STO.I. R.N.". The ribbon is red, white and blue. The 1914-1915 Star was authorised in 1918 and awarded to all those who served in a theatre of war between 5th August 1914 and 31st December 1915.
