Description: | RU DES MACKINTOSH, Charles Rennie; (Scottish; 1868-1928) Mackintosh used this simple flower and bud monogram as his nom-de-plume for the prestigious competition to design buildings for Glasgow's planned 1901 International Exhibition. The competition was won by James Miller. Five of Mackintosh's competition designs survive in the collection.
