Description: | CRE WHISTLER, Beatrix; (English; 1857-1896) CRE GODWIN, Edward William; (English; 1833-1886) The drapery study was probably drawn by Beatrix Whistler's first husband, the architect and designer E. W. Godwin. The heads on the back were probably drawn by Beatrix Whistler. The features have been highlighted by lines in ink. This sheet came into the Hunterian collection as part of the Whistler Estate, together with graphic work by Beatrix Whistler, who was married to Godwin 1875-1886, before she married Whistler.
