Description: | CRE MACKINTOSH, Charles Rennie; (Scottish; 1868-1928) The White Dining Room for the Ingram Street Tea Rooms was the first job for Miss Cranston in which Mackintosh had complete control over the furniture and decoration. This room featured white painted work and furniture, it had a small mezzanine balcony, kitchens, servery and Ladies' Dressing Room.
There were also prominent gesso panels on the east and west walls, 'The Wassail' by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and 'The May Queen' by Margaret Macdonald.
