Description: | Sword and scabbard. The sword’s hilt is made of silvered steel and is overlaid with gold (kuftwork). Each side of the hilt also has a small green and red stone. The blade also has some kuftwork decoration. There is gold inlaid inscription in capital letters: MAHARAJA PATIALA and another inscription in Punjabi? The scabbard is silvered steel and has gold mounts. The gold mount at the end of the scabbard has a floral motif, while the other two mounts are the shape of a lion’s head. To these mounts there is a gold ring attached. Silvered steel with lion's head scabbard mounts in brass.
