Description: | Surface scatter found directly after ploughing & close to slight mound - evidence of ditch surrounding mound. Nene Valley colour coated ware & other colour coatings, Samian, rusticated grey ware, Dolesware Type grey ware of Hadrianic type rims. Large proportion of Samian c12%. Saltern sites to S. {1}{2}
Ditched enclosure about half acre,in association with concentration of Romano-British pottery - unusual proportion of samian (about 12%). Four circles to south (about 1-200 yards away) & about 20-30ft. in diam. - reddish soil appear to be salterns but no saltern pottery.
