Description: | PRN 13566
During a watching brief, at TF423 5081, two linear features were recorded. The first feature was aligned east/west and contained one sherd of 14th-16th century pottery. This feature was thought to be a drainage or boundary ditch, probably a replacement for the undated ditch (PRN 13565) found during the same watching brief. The second feature was aligned north-west/south-east, and was thought to be a drainage channel or rectilinear pond. The primary fill of this feature was organic, suggesting the presence of standing water. {1}{2} | Subjects: | General Archaeology | Temporal: | 1300 - 1599 | Source: | Lincolnshire County Council | Identifier: | http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/Re... | Go to resource |
