A geophysical survey conducted in 2001 detected several anomalies of potential archaeological significance. A linear feature was aligned north-north-west/south-south-east and may be associated with cropmark enclosures nearby. The feature merged with other anomalies to the north, some of which may be distinct pits while others may be natural. Two groups of further pit-like features were also noted, with one group lying close to a pit excavated during earlier fieldwork. Less distinct anomalies at the south end of the site may be natural.{1}
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks for an extension to an existing stockyard at the Concrete Products Factory, Manor Farm, Baston. The watching brief identified a number of undated northeast to southwest aligned ditches {2} {3} | Subjects: | General Archaeology | Source: | Lincolnshire County Council | Identifier: | http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/Re... | Go to resource |
