A house built in the early 18th century which was extensively altered and remodelled in about 1820 and about 1840. It was rendered and has hipped slate roofs, deep overhanging eaves and three ridge rendered stacks. It has an L-shaped plan. The original house had the rear wing raised in 1820, and the west front remodelled in 1840. The south front is of three storeys and six bays with a plinth, pilasters, a second floor cill band and deep bracketed eaves. The interior has a grand staircase dating from about 1840 and an open well above the entrance hall.
