This house dates to the second quarter of the 18th century. It was described as new in 1773 when a Sun fire insurance policy was taken out for it, however it may be earlier than this. It has a 17th century wing to the rear. The interior includes an 18th century staircase as well as 18th century panelling and a fireplace. {1}
This two storey coursed rubble house dates to around 1770 [this may be incorrect - see above]. It has a Sun Insurance plaque.
