Description: | PRN 34473
A surface scatter of Romano-British pottery (including Samian and amphora), fired clay, quern, burnt stone, rubble and animal bone was seen during fieldwalking. Dressed building stone was seen in the north of the field and much burnt stone was present to the south. A distinct soilmark was also seen. This site probably represents a building or farmstead, possibly a relatively high status one. {1} | Subjects: | General Archaeology | Temporal: | 43 - 409 | Source: | Lincolnshire County Council | Identifier: | http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/Re... | Go to resource |
