Description: | This Church, retains the jambs of a Norman arch in the North transept, and, during restoration, the bases of the Norman arcade were discovered. With these exceptions the Church is Decorated and Perpendicular, considerably restored. The chancel was largely rebuilt and extended in 1896. {1}{2}{3}{4} In normal use.{1} St Peter and St Paul's Church. Norman nook-shaft of arch in north transept. Bases of Norman arcade found in excavs. 1896. Decorated transept windows, tower. Perpendicular crocketed spire, south aisle windows, south porch, clerestory. Decorated south chancel chapel, sedilia and piscina, south transept tomb recess. Monument to C14th knight and wife. Perpendicular octagonal font. Decorated screen.{5} THE WEST END WAS REBUILT IN THE 1970'S AND TWO MEDIEVAL CORBEL HEADS WERE FOUND.
