An archaeological watching brief monitoring a watermain reinforcement scheme between Coningsby and Woodhall, identified a series of regularly spaced undulations (2m apart) immediately south of Fulsby DMV (PRN 40250). These were thought to be the truncated remnants of ridge and furrow. It is thought that the features are of medieval or post medieval date, and possibly form part of a field system associated with the deserted medieval village {1} {2} | Subjects: | General Archaeology | Temporal: | 1066 - 1900 | Source: | Lincolnshire County Council | Identifier: | http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/Re... | Go to resource |
