Recites that Henry Ferne late of Hammersmith, esq., and Robert Ferne, late of Locko, esq., son of the said Henry, are both dead. At the time of their deaths they were seised of the said property, which descended to Elizabeth, wife of wife of Edmund Turnor, Isabella wife of Lancelot Rolleston, esq., and Frances, wife of Thomas Bradshaw, esq., as sisters and coheirs of Robert and daughters and coheirs of Henry. Isabella is since dead without issue, whereby Elizabeth and Frances became solely entitled.
Quotes previous settlements and relates that Elizabeth Ferne died on 8 May, 733. By virtue of the power given her by the deed of 10 Oct 1729, Elizabeth Turnor has allotted for the support of Bonsall school property as above, together with a copyhold messuage, land and close in Matlock and copyhold lands in Bonsall. By decree in Chancery of 22 Dec last it was ordered that it should be referred to one of the Chancery Masters to see if the lands set apart by Elizabeth Turnor were sufficient to answer the £40 a year. By report of 4 Aug last, the Master approved of them and of (3) above as trustees to whom the lands should be conveyed.
