2. Edward Gregory, clerk, one of the sons of George Gregory, and George Gregory of the Office of Ordnance in the Tower of London, grandson of George Gregory,
3. George Bridges Brudenell of the parish of St Martin in the Fields, esq, and John Sherwin of Nottingham, esq,
4. Richard Tilliard of James Street, Bedford Row, London, esq, and John Egginton of Nottingham, gent.
Messuages, cottages, tenements and farms in Rempstone, now or late in the several tenures or occupations of George Morris, George Wilson, John Bailey, Thomas Crofts, John Tyres, and William Harrison; and all those farms, closes, lands, grounds, and hereditaments in Stanton on the Wolds, Nottinghamshire, now or late in the tenure of John Stubbs and John Astell; and two messuages or tenements in Nottingham now in the occupation of Widow Rowe and John Bagshaw; and three leys of meadow ground in the Sand Field in Nottingham, now in the tenure of Widow Rowe; and 2a. meadow land in the same field, late in the possession of George Gregory the father; and close in the Clay Field, Nottingham called Goldswong Close, and closes, grounds, lands, and hereditaments in Harlaxton devised by the will of Elizabeth Williams to George Gregory and Susanna his wife and their heirs and by them devised to Susanna Gregory; and messuage or tenement called the Hall, with the farm, lands, and grounds belonging in Bulcote, Nottinghamshire.
Release from 1. to 2., for the love she bears her brothers and their issue.
The property, except for Bulcote, to the use of 1. for life, then to the use of Edward Gregory for life, then to trustees to preserve contingent remainders, then to the sons of Edward Gregory, and their heirs male successively. The farm and lands in Bulcote to 4. for 500 years in trust, then to the use of Edward Gregory and his first and other sons in tail male, to the use of George Bridges Brudenell and John Sherwin and their heirs during the life of George Gregory, esq, eldest son of George Gregory the father by Susanna his wife, upon trust to preserve the contingent remainders; and then to the use of the second and other sons of George Gregory the son successively and to their heirs male; and in default, to the use of George Gregory the grandson, in trust to support the contingent remainders, yet in trust to allow George Gregory the grandson to receive the rents and profits for his life, and after his death to the use of his first son and his heirs male, and in default of such, to the use of the second and other sons of George the grandson successively; and for default of such, to the use of Susanna Gregory forever.
Persons coming into actual possession of the property to assume the surname of Williams.
The term to Brudenell and Sherwin during the life of George Gregory the son is in trust to allow such of the sons of George Gregory the son who shall have reached the age of twenty-four to receive the rents and profits for their own use for such part of the life of George Gregory the son as he shall have no son.
