Description: | 15th centuryA fragment of a silver-gilt medieval iconographic finger-ring. Only one shoulder and part of the bezel survives. The ring is engraved with foliate decoration on either side of a central ridge.The find therefore qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 in terms of both age and precious metal content.Beverley Nenk Dept Prehistory and Europe British Museum 17 December 2008"
