Description: | Incomplete Bronze Age palstave cast in copper alloy. The fragment is from the butt end of the palstave, flanked either side by parallel flanges. The the break is extremely worn, and is located above the backstop, thus none of the blade is present on the fragment. The fragment is sub-triangular in profile. The surface is very worn and it has an even green patina.
