Description: | A copper alloy local trade token, dated 1667. The token is from Robert Hichcock's Needlemakers. St. Pancras (Chichester).
Robert Hichcock lived in St. Pancras parish, in Chichester District, West Sussex. For a recent example of this traders token and for further information on Robert Hichcock, cf. Karridge and de Ruiter 2009, p49, No. 28. In addition, Williamson (1891, 1166, 52) identifies a halfpenny token attributed to Robert Hichcock with the Needle-makers' Arms dated to 1667 AD.
