Description: | Various official documents relating to Dr Julius Siegel, a German-Jewish lawyer from Munich, and his immediate family, comprising: letter dated January 1914 (2pp ts, in German) from Julius Siegel concerning a legal matter; school-leaving certificate dated February 1934 to his son Alois (Ludwigs-Gymnasium Munich); notification from the High Court in Munich, dated October 1934, to Julius Siegel, now resident in Palestine, informing him that his name has been struck off the register of court lawyers in Munich; letter dated July 1940 from the Gestapo in Munich to the Peruvian Consulate in Hamburg, stating that they have no information to the detriment of Mathilde Siegel (? Julius' sister-in-law); copy of an identical letter with reference to Dr Michael Siegel (Julius' brother); photocopy of a 1916 certificate awarded to Michael Siegel in conjunction with the King Ludwig Cross for services to Bavaria during the war.
