Alfred Luffrum (21/Apr/ (?)1898 - Dec 1957 was born in Brentford, Middlesex, the son of a Coal Merchant. He is believed to have worked on the Great Western Railway before enlisting, possibly in the Middlesex Regiment. He was later transferred to the Machine Gun Corps. His service details cannot be confirmed since his are amongst the PRO 'Burned' Records. The award of the MSM was announced in the Third Supplement to The London Gazette of 14 June 1918. Monday 17 June 1918. (page 7133 & 7156)
