Pour vivre il faut manger.
Pour manger il faut faire produire à la terre les céréales et les légumes.
Si le blé manque, les pommes de terre le remplaceront; car tout le monde ne peut pas cultiver le blé; mais tout le monde peut faire pousser
des pommes de terre dans son potager, et aussi des haricots, des choux, des carottes.
Crèons donc dans chaque école une équipe agricole.
Demandons des conseils à ceux qui déjà ont montré l’exemple.
Cultivons la terre qui doit nourrir nos défenseurs et nous payer de notre peine.

[Cultivated land. Productive land. To live we have to eat. To eat we have to make the earth produce cereal crops and vegetables. If there
is a shortage of wheat, potatoes will replace it; for not everyone can grow wheat; but everyone can grow potatoes in their vegetable
garden, as well as beans, cabbages and carrots. So let’s create an agricultural team in each school. Let’s ask those who have already set
