ŒUVRE RATTACHÉE A LA [depiction of a red cross symbol] FRANÇAISE

[Clothing for Prisoners of War. Charity attached to the French [depiction of a red cross symbol]. Head Office of Charity. A charity has
just been founded under the name of Clothing for Prisoners of War. Its aim is to clothe French and Belgian prisoners, military or civilian
interned in Germany. Prisoners of war require warm clothing to protect them from the rigours of the cold; a large number of them, captive
since the summer, are too lightly clad. The civilian prisoners on the other hand, captured ‘as they were’ in the invaded French and Belgian
regions, suffer especially from a lack of clothing. There are women, children and old people among them! Therefore we address an urgent
appeal to all those of good will, all charitable hearts. We hope that everyone will be willing to help us in this charitable word, either
by donations, however small they may be, or by gifts in kind – pullovers, knitted garments, shirts, underpants, socks, handkerchiefs,
mufflers, tobacco, chocolate, etc.; both will be accepted extremely gratefully. Gifts, whether in cash or kind, are accepted at the
