Description: | Scale: 1:36. A full hull model of a Chinese duck sampan, of a type used in coastal waters, made entirely in wood with metal and organic material fittings. The depicted vessel is single-masted with a single square sail set. The hull is flat-bottomed, straight-sided and has a flat bow and transom stern. Fittings include six oars with six thole pins, a woven mat, an anchor with its stock positioned low on the shank, a steering oar rigged over the port stern quarter and a large rudder.
