It is inscribed on the back ?d belde sijn tweet e groet? (the figures are two times too big). This probably refers to the three men in the stern gallery which make the ship look much smaller than she was.
This is a black chalk with pen and brown ink drawing by the Younger. It is signed on the back in pencil ?W.V.VJ?.
