Description: | This is a drawing by the Younger in pencil, pen and brown ink. It is signed in brown ink ?W.V.VJ.?
The rake and length of the masts of the ship on the right have been corrected twice, the dotted lines being the correct positions of the topmasts of a ship lifting to sea and heeling to port; the bend in the masts in the strong wind would depend on the tautness of the rigging.
