Description: | Scale: Unknown. A full hull model of a 36-gun warship (circa 1700), made entirely in wood with faint traces of blue, red, white and brown paint. The hull is made plank-on-frame with a red-painted panel and decoratively carved and blue-painted frieze above that run along the poop deck. There are four circular gunports on the poop. The main gundeck has fourteen square gunports with a white stripe connecting them. Much of the model is damaged or missing but the main and poop decks are largely intact. Fittings include a tabernacle forward and provision for the mainmast. The inboard bulkheads are painted red. The carved and highly decorated stern includes an unidentified coat-of-arms supported by a pair of cherubs or angels, four open circular gunports and two square gunports with lids, a closed gallery with five arched windows and the remains of the starboard stern quarter gallery.
