Description: | Scale: Unknown. Model of three double frames of a warship made entirely of wood which has been varnished, and metal fittings. The three double frames have filling frames, floors, futtocks and top timbers along their length and the method of fixing the frames to each other is shown. The frames are held together by a series of five horizontal wooden ribbands on either side secured by brass pins and there is a gun port on each side. Three wooden braces connect the port and starboard frames and are marked with the midship's crossed circle and the numbers '(1)' and (2). The model shows the position and fixing of the keel and the keelson together with a small section of hull planking in the garbard area. The keel section is mounted directly to a wooden horizontal baseboard with bevelled edges which is on four raised, stylised feet.
