Description: | Scale: not calculated. A model of a ship?s cutter, complete with rudder, tiller yoke, four thwarts and oars and a cut-off section of mast. It is displayed on turned pillar supports and displayed in a bespoke case, mahogany-framed and glazed overall. The maker has used different coloured woods to great effect; the clinker hull being lighter than the keel, stempost, rudder top strake and gunwales. The effect is that of the clinker hull being framed by the darker woods that surround it. Internally the model has been made in exactly the same way as would have been the real thing.
