Description: | Scale: Unknown. A half frame model of the starboard side of a merchant sailing vessel, the function of which is not known. The model is painted or patinated black and depicts only the frames which are shown as solid bulkheads, a single wide strake, three rows of planking and transom. The stem-post, keel and stern post have been painted in black onto the backboard which is integral to the model effectively forming the model's centreline. Around the black-painted area depicting the vessel?s stem-post, keel and stern post there is a broad off-white painted line that then continues to the top of the transom. The off-white line effectively forms an outline of the depicted vessel and is therefore not depicting a part of it.
