Description: | A Copy of this Draught was sent to Mr Hugh Blades at Hull, for Building a Ship (to carry seventy Guns) agreeable thereto Nov'r 6th 1756. Named Temple.
Another Copy was given to Messrs Barnard & Turner for Building a Ship agreeable thereto 9th Feb'y 1757 - Nam'd the Conqueror.
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan, sheer lines, and longitudinal half-breadth for 'Conqueror' (1758) and 'Temple' (1758), both 68-gun Third Rate, two-deckers, based on the design for 'Vanguard' (1748), a 1745 Establishment 68-gun Third Rate, two-decker.
